+ JAPAN Series + 1K Origami Cranes or Senbazuru is a group of one thousand origami paper cranes held together by strings. An ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by a crane, such as long life or recovery from illness or injury. This is our wish for those affected by the Earthquake and Tsunami that have recently ravaged Japan. On the Skyn are the directions to fold an origami paper crane, so you too can fold these cranes and give your best to Japan. +Having most of Equilibrium USG's design and cultural experience influenced by japan and japanese artist, It was just fit for us to make something that would in turn give back to Japan. This skyn is a small token of our appreciation and support for all things Japanese, with that said all the proceeds from the sale of this limited edition Japan Series 1K Cranes skyn will be donated to the American Red Cross for the Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami.

It was initially built for defensive purposes in the 1800s, dramatically expanded during the late 20th century as a seaport district, & has developed since the 1990s as a major commercial, residential & leisure area.
